Alessandra Novelli

My father is Italian, my mother German and we live at the bottom of the Black Forest near the border to France and Switzerland. So from an early age I visited many of these places – and we stayed in Italy twice a year. Travelling is normal for me, I realise how spoilt I am and I’ll be eternally grateful that my father took me on day trips to France and I was able to “work” with my mother in Switzerland!

I took my first flight when I was nine – we went on the Canary Islands and visited the home of the artist Cesar Manrique and went inside an inactive volcano.

Since then, I have been to 3 continents, more than 15 countries and counting.

My favorite city probably is London, while I least enjoyed Paris. Though, there are some other places I want to return to.
